Help Children in Underserved Communities in Ghana Learn with Dignity
Oduro and Dei Education Foundation (ODEF) is a Canada-based not-for-profit supporting underprivileged schoolchildren in Ghana with essential school supplies, hygiene support, and community-led educational initiatives.
Canada-based • Ghana-focused • Community-led support • Transparent & accountable

What we do
We remove everyday barriers that prevent children in rural Ghana from attending school consistently and learning with confidence.
Through trusted community partnerships, we provide essential school supplies, hygiene and sanitation support, and practical assistance that strengthens local learning environments.

Our Core Programs
School Essentials Support
We provide essential school supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks, and learning materials based on the specific needs of each school and community.

Socks for Students Drive
A seasonal initiative focused on collecting new and gently used socks for children in rural Ghana. Many students walk long distances to school without socks or adequate footwear support. This program promotes comfort, dignity, and school readiness.

Back-to-School Kits
We assemble practical back-to-school kits that combine key learning materials—and, where appropriate, basic hygiene items—to help students start the school term prepared and confident.
Sanitation & Community Support
To promote a healthy learning environment, we support schools and communities with sanitation bins, hygiene materials, and basic first-aid supplies, prioritizing student well-being and safety.
Community-Led School Support
As ODEF grows, we work closely with local partners to support small, high-priority school and community needs that enhance learning environments and long-term educational opportunity.
